Western Gulf Advisory, an investment company based in Bahrain has appointed Citigate Dewe Rogerson as its corporate PR adviser for the UK.

Western Gulf Advisory, which was founded by CEO Ahsan Ali Syed, engages in corporate lending, M&A and equity participation and is set to invest in the UK. The company was incorporated in 2008 but traces its roots back over 150 years when the founder's family began a private lending business in India that continues to this day. The investment strategy avoids adopting a rigid country or sector approach in favour of identifying viable investments across a number of different sectors such as agriculture, real estate or mining.

The account will be led by Patrick Evans and Constanze Ullmann and focus mainly on media relations with the aim to increase WGA’s brand awareness and to source potential investment opportunities.
